Today we made our QR code & sign to direct people who pass by to this blog. The goal is to list updates here as things start to sprout & mature. We have ordered a big banner for the side of the building but it's not here yet. We can't help but notice our seeds are sprouting! The closest to the curly kale are micro greens, then a mixture of lettuce & spinach....
You may also notice a few peas sprouting on the trellis & the first ears of corn sprouting on the back row. Our dilemma we need to work out this week is watering. We have 2 rain barrels that depend entirely on the rain to fill them. (I guess most of them do) lol! I will keep you posted!

We are so excited to have planted the garden on April 19th. In the front row, we sowed lettuce, kale, spinach, micro green & arugula seeds.
Our next row contains peppers- We have red, yellow & green bell peppers, Jalapeño peppers, & tomatoes. On the trellis's we have yellow squash, cucumbers & snow peas. Our back row id sunflowers & corn. We also sprinkled some zinna seeds in the mix throughout the garden in hopes of some cutting flowers to share. |
